Muhammed Muhammed is a dynamic and accomplished Executive Director, Project Management at Influx Group, with over seven years of professional experience spanning executive leadership, project and programme management, business strategy, agribusiness, operations, business development, consulting, investment coordination, market expansion, agricultural value-chain development, research and sustainable development. He is a strategic and commercially minded professional with a proven ability to translate ambitious ideas into structured projects, scalable business opportunities, efficient operating systems and measurable outcomes.
As Executive Director, Project Management at Influx Group, Muhammed provides strategic leadership and executive oversight for the Group's project portfolio, working across business units, subsidiaries and strategic initiatives to ensure that projects are properly conceived, commercially sound, effectively resourced, professionally executed and aligned with the Group's broader corporate objectives. His mandate sits at the intersection of strategy, execution, business growth and organizational performance, requiring him to coordinate people, capital, partnerships, timelines and operational resources towards the successful delivery of the Group's strategic priorities.
In his current capacity, Muhammed is responsible for driving a structured project-management culture across the Group, strengthening project planning and implementation systems, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, monitoring performance, identifying operational and execution risks, supporting investment and business decisions, and ensuring that strategic initiatives progress from concept to execution and ultimately to measurable commercial and organizational value. He brings an executive perspective to project management, viewing projects not simply as activities to be completed, but as strategic vehicles for business growth, value creation, market expansion and long-term institutional development.
His role within Influx Group draws upon a multidisciplinary career built across agribusiness, corporate operations, consulting, development programmes, market expansion and enterprise development. Before joining Influx Group, Muhammed worked with organisations including Green Growth Agribusiness and Innovation Foundation (GGAIF), GPC Agro Commodity and Allied Services Limited, Zeenab Group and Greener Agribusiness and Consulting Limited, gaining extensive exposure to business operations, strategic planning, agricultural enterprises, project development, stakeholder management, commercial opportunities and organizational growth.
At Green Growth Agribusiness and Innovation Foundation (GGAIF), Muhammed contributed to the development and implementation of agricultural, climate, and youth-focused initiatives, playing an active role in project design, programme coordination, partnerships, stakeholder engagement, organizational development, and strategic execution. His experience in the development sector strengthened his ability to manage projects involving multiple stakeholders, limited resources, institutional partners, and impact-oriented objectives while maintaining a strong focus on accountability and measurable outcomes.
One of the defining achievements of Muhammed's professional career has been his contribution to the development and expansion of a national export platform that onboarded over 100,000 businesses, providing enterprises with greater access to formal and international market opportunities. His involvement in this initiative exposed him to large-scale enterprise engagement, business onboarding, market expansion, international trade facilitation, stakeholder coordination, platform operations, and commercial ecosystem development. The experience strengthened his understanding of how businesses can be organized, positioned, and connected to opportunities at scale.
His career also demonstrates a strong capacity for resource mobilization and development finance. Through TRC, Muhammed successfully secured a grant from the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) for a research and innovation initiative focused on Peste des Petits Ruminants (PPR) and its impact on small-ruminant farmers. The project explores the feasibility of a mobile PPR Early Warning System for rural women small-ruminant farmers in Kano State, Nigeria, integrating agricultural research, digital innovation, disease surveillance, gender inclusion, and livelihood protection.
Academically, Muhammed holds a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture from Bayero University, Kano, where he graduated with a CGPA of 4.46/5.00. He is currently pursuing an MSc in Agricultural Economics at the University of Abuja, further developing his expertise in economic analysis, research, agricultural policy, resource allocation, food systems, and evidence-based decision-making.
His academic background in Agriculture, combined with advanced training in Agricultural Economics and extensive professional exposure, gives him a distinctive understanding of both the technical and commercial dimensions of agriculture.
Muhammed has complemented his academic and professional experience with a broad portfolio of certifications and specialised training in Project Management, Monitoring and Evaluation Practices, MEAL Essentials, Climate Finance and Grant Writing, Climate Negotiation and Policy Analysis, Climate Change and Health, Climate Change and Flood Disaster Awareness, Flood Disaster and Safety Awareness, Equitable and Inclusive Agrifood Systems, Procurement, Logistics & Supply Management, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) in Emergencies, Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Certification.
He is also a recipient of the Sustainable Agricultural Leadership Fellowship of the International Association of Students in Agricultural Science and Related Sciences (IAAS), reflecting his commitment to leadership, agricultural transformation, sustainability and youth development.
Throughout his career, Muhammed has developed strong competencies in executive leadership, project and programme management, strategic planning, business development, operations management, agribusiness, market expansion, stakeholder engagement, partnership development, investment coordination, procurement, logistics, monitoring and evaluation, research, data analysis, risk management and organizational performance.
One of his key strengths is his ability to operate comfortably between high-level strategy and ground-level execution. He understands that successful projects require more than good ideas; they require clear objectives, strong governance, realistic financial models, competent teams, effective communication, disciplined implementation, risk management, continuous monitoring, and the ability to make timely strategic decisions.
This perspective strongly informs his leadership at Influx Group, where he approaches project management as an executive function directly connected to the Group's growth agenda. His focus is not merely on whether projects are completed, but on whether they are strategically justified, commercially viable, operationally efficient, financially responsible, scalable, and capable of creating long-term value.
As Executive Director, Project Management, Muhammed contributes to building the systems and institutional capabilities required for Influx Group to execute increasingly complex projects and pursue new opportunities. He brings a structured approach to project prioritisation, planning, resource allocation, stakeholder coordination, performance tracking and execution, while maintaining sight of the Group's broader strategic direction.
He is particularly passionate about building scalable businesses, strengthening operational systems, unlocking investment and market opportunities, developing high-performing teams, creating strategic partnerships and turning innovative ideas into sustainable ventures. His experience across both commercial and development environments enables him to approach opportunities with a balanced understanding of profitability, sustainability, risk, impact, and long-term growth.
He represents a new generation of African executives who understand that growth requires both vision and execution—the ability to identify opportunities, structure them properly, mobilize the necessary resources, build the right partnerships and lead teams to deliver.
As Executive Director, Project Management at Influx Group, Muhammed is committed to helping build an organization that is strategically ambitious, operationally excellent, commercially competitive, and positioned for sustainable growth. His professional ambition extends beyond managing projects; it is to build systems, develop opportunities, create value, and lead initiatives that leave a lasting institutional and economic impact.
His professional philosophy is simple: Think strategically. Execute decisively. Create measurable value. Build for scale.
