Pastor John Onyemaechi Azubuike is a pastor, administrator, mentor, and internal control professional whose experience spans more than twenty-six years of ministry and leadership, alongside a background in corporate audit and internal control. As Chairman of the Board of Directors of Influx Group Limited, he brings a valuable combination of people leadership, administrative experience and an appreciation of accountability to the Group’s governance and strategic direction.

His professional background combines service in faith-based institutions with experience in the corporate environment. He served as an Internal Audit Officer at Banex Group Limited, Wuse II, Abuja, from 2013 to 2016, before moving into an internal control role in 2017. This experience provides a practical foundation for his contribution to Board oversight, particularly in matters concerning organisational discipline, responsible resource management and sound internal processes.

Pastor Azubuike’s leadership journey includes a decade of service as an Associate Pastor at Redeemed Pillar of Fire Praying Mission, Ajao Estate, Lagos, from 1998 to 2008. He subsequently served as Resident Pastor at the headquarters of Victory HolyGhost Mission, Isolo, Lagos, from 2008 to 2013. Since 2013, he has served as Northern Region Coordinator and Resident Pastor of Victory HolyGhost Mission in Abuja. These appointments reflect a sustained record of leadership responsibility, encompassing pastoral administration, teaching, mentoring, counselling and regional coordination.

Born on 1 August 1973 in Uzuakoli, Bende Local Government Area of Abia State, he attended Community Primary School, Uzuakoli, from 1980 to 1986 and Methodist College, Uzuakoli, from 1986 to 1991. He further developed his ministerial and leadership foundation at Victory Bible Institute, obtaining a Certificate in Theology in 2005 and a Diploma in Christian Ministries in 2006. He also completed the Basic Certificate Course at Word of Faith Bible Institute in 2011 and its Leadership Certificate Course in 2013.

As Chairman of Influx Group Limited, Pastor Azubuike’s focus is on providing principled Board leadership, supporting constructive deliberation and encouraging accountability in the pursuit of the Group’s objectives. His combination of pastoral leadership and corporate control experience positions him to contribute to an organisational culture grounded in integrity, service, prudent stewardship and respect for people.

A teacher, mentor and counsellor, Pastor Azubuike brings a people-centred perspective to leadership, recognising the importance of developing individuals alongside building institutions. He is married to Mrs. Elizabeth Chiamaka Azubuike, and their marriage is blessed with four children.
